Thirty-five children who might otherwise be on the streets are, today, sitting in a classroom in Jinja — in a uniform, with a pencil, learning to read. Each one is there because a sponsor somewhere in the world decided a child they had never met was worth it.

What a sponsorship covers
Through faithful sponsors, these children receive school placement, fees, uniforms and supplies — the practical things that stand between a child and an education. But sponsorship also gives something less tangible and just as important: the message that someone believes in their future.

The 150 still waiting
For every child in a classroom, several more are still waiting. Our waitlist holds more than 150 names — real children, with real dreams, hoping for the sponsor who will help them trade the dustbin for a desk.
